John specializes in the evaluation and treatment of general orthopedic conditions affecting both upper and lower extremities and the spine.  He has a strong background in sports medicine which he gained while working with Division 1 athletes at The University of Michigan and during an internship with The Detroit Lions.  John is the co-founder and co-owner of Performax Physical Therapy.

Lynn specializes in evaluation and treatment of clients with a variety of diagnoses/injuries involving the hand and upper extremity, as well as vestibular/inner ear and balance disorders.      She treats clients who may have sustained fractures, sprains, tendon injuries or repair, cumulative trauma disorders, arthritis, CVA, as well as those who may suffer from vestibular/inner ear dysfunction.

Lynn has also had experience working in skilled nursing facilities and home health care.  She is currently serving on the Michigan Board of Occupational Therapists.

Laurie works with with patients of all ages and on a variety of hand injuries including amputations, fractures, tendon lacerations, tendon transfers, nerve injuries, arthritis, ligament instabilities, sprains and cumulative trauma disorders.  She specializes in splinting for mobilization and immobilization utilizing static, dynamic, and static progressive techniques.

Laurie is a Board Member of the Michigan Chapter of American Society of Hand Therapists and has held the position of President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary.  She has also held the position of State Chapter Coordinator nationally for ASHT.  Laurie has also been coaching youth hockey for the past 12 years.

Michael also has experience working with individuals with post surgical conditions, CVA's, Parkinson's, and back/neck pain. Michael enjoys working with patients of all ages.

Mark has experience working in Arizona, Alaska, Indiana, and Michigan. While in Indiana, he served as a consultant to local industry, performing worksite risk assessments and consultation with local industry on prevention of workplace injuries.

Mark is certified in Graston technique (GT), the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and is also a USATF Level 1 certified running coach.  He combines the use of GT and SFMA with manual therapy and functional exercise to effectively evaluate and treat the vast range of musculoskeletal conditions seen in our clinics.   He enjoys treating patients of all age ranges.

Mark has also coached youth cross country and track in the Downriver area over the past 8 years.  He has a passion for promotion of fitness, as well as developing youth running talent.  He has extensive experience treating injured runners and endurance athletes, and takes a comprehensive biomechanical approach to restoring function and returning athletes to an optimal level of performance

Katie has taken multiple courses on the use of manual techniques such as instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) and kinesiology taping. She enjoys incorporating overall health and wellness into the rehabilitation process to optimize patient’s health and function, in addition to traditional manual techniques, exercises, and modalities.

Katie and her husband own the Light the Fire CrossFit gym in Monroe, MI and are both Level 2 certified CrossFit trainers.

She enjoyed working with adolescent, amateur, collegiate, and professional athletes throughout her career as well as treating orthopedic injuries and post-surgical rehabilitation.
